This guide explains how to connect your Click & Drop account to your BigCommerce store. This will allow you to download, manage, and generate postage labels for your BigCommerce orders.
Within Click & Drop, click the 'Settings' link.
The 'Settings / Overview' page will open. In the 'Integrations' section, click 'Go'.
Next, click the 'Add new integration' button.
Click the 'BigCommerce' button.
A new pop-up window will appear asking you to install the Click & Drop app. Click the button, and you will be redirected to the BigCommerce website in a new tab. At this point, if you haven't already logged in to BigCommerce, you will be asked to log in.
On your BigCommerce dashboard, look for the menu bar on the left, and click 'Apps'.
From the next page, select 'Marketplace', and then type 'Click & Drop' in the search bar in the top right-hand corner of the page. You'll be presented with a list of matching apps, where you should find the 'Royal Mail Click & Drop app'. Select the Royal Mail Click & Drop app and on the next page, click 'Install'.
The next window will display the permissions the app requires in order to download and process your orders. Click the 'Confirm' button to continue.
Please note: When creating integrations, we often must request full access to your store in order for the integration to work properly. Click & Drop will only import the data we need for producing Royal Mail shipping labels and other documents.
After confirmation, a window will appear to inform you that the app has been installed.
Click on the red text 'Check your settings and activate your new channel on the channel settings page' link to be returned to your 'Integrations' page in Click & Drop.
You will be returned to your 'Channels and stores' page. Click the 'Update and Activate' button to finalise the integration.
You can also choose to check the 'Mark orders as despatched' option to automatically mark your orders as 'Complete' in channel once your have manifested your order (OBA accounts) or paid for your label (Personal Accounts).
Once you have clicked the 'Update and activate' button, you will see your new integration on your 'Channels and stores' page in Click & Drop, and the link icon will turn green, as shown below.
Your BigCommerce orders will now begin downloading into Click & Drop.
If you view the Click & Drop app while logged into BigCommerce, the 'Install' button will be replaced with a 'Launch' button which will open Click & Drop. Additionally, an 'Uninstall' button will become available that you can use to remove the Click & Drop app. Note that this will disconnect your channel in Click & Drop.
Can I disconnect from BigCommerce?
You're free to disconnect from BigCommerce at any time via Click & Drop.
In the 'Channels and Stores' section under the 'Settings' link, click on 'Go'. Click anywhere within the BigCommerce row to expand the data.
To disconnect the channel, simply click the 'Delete' button. Once you have disconnected, you will no longer be able to download and process any orders from the store.
If you need to reconnect the store at a later date, simply repeat the connection process.
Store order status and import frequency
Click & Drop is only able to import BigCommerce orders that are in 'Awaiting Shipment' status, and no older than 7 days old.
Eligible orders will import into your Click & Drop account approximately every 15-30 minutes. We will attempt to update the status of orders in your BigCommerce store approximately every 30 minutes.
Only physical orders which require postage can be processed through Click & Drop. Orders for virtual products, such as downloads or applications, will not appear in your Click & Drop orders, and as such will not appear on your order totals.
How does Click & Drop handle products from BigCommerce?
Whenever an order imports into Click & Drop from BigCommerce, we will check for any SKU included with the order. If you already have a product in Click & Drop with the same SKU, we will be able to add key product data to the order, such as weight, product names, and any required electronic customs information.
If an order imports from BigCommerce with a SKU value that does not already have a matching product in Click & Drop, we will automatically create one when the order is marked as despatched.
We will not automatically use order weights imported from BigCommerce the first time a SKU is imported. This is so you can check the weight of the package is correct.
For efficient order processing, we recommend that you import information on your products into Click & Drop before processing orders.

Troubleshooting
I can't establish a connection to my BigCommerce store
Before creating an integration to BigCommerce, you must set up your company identity, trading name, and return address first in Click & Drop. The above are required before you can import orders and create labels, and can be configured in your Click & Drop settings pages.
