With Stop & Return you can request that an attempt is made by Royal Mail to intercept and return items.

Royal Mail provide a service to Account customers who buy Tracked and Special Delivery Guaranteed products, allowing requests for items to be ‘Returned to Sender’ if they are not yet delivered.

Using Stop & Return:

To request a package in the Royal Mail network be stopped and returned to you:

  1. Look up the Order in your Manifested Orders grid
  2. Select the order using the checkbox
  3. Using the Quick Actions menu at the top of the grid, select Stop & Return
  4. You will receive a response notification at the bottom of the screen indicating if your request has been successful or not. Not all requests can be actioned, as the parcel may have progressed to final delivery.

How to Monitor your Stop & Return Requests

Email updates will be provided to the email address of the Click & Drop user who made the request.

If your Stop & Return request was accepted, you will receive updates on the progress of your shipments return to you in the Tracking field of the manifested orders grid.


Reprocessing Orders

If you wish to reprocess the principal order, select the order from the manifested orders grid and use the Clone function, this will create a clone of the order in New status for you to process.

Note that shipping updates returned to channels will be based on the principal order's status, therefore the order will be notified as despatched to your integration upon manifesting the principal order.
